“Some wish to live within the sound of church or chapel bell;
I want to run a rescue shop within a yard of hell.” (C.T. Studd)
Each week more than 100 women bring the babies in their wombs to be killed at Orlando Women’s Center. John Barros stands outside every day, starting before they are open, to share the biblical law and gospel with the mothers, fathers, and companions who come to this place of death. He is the hands and feet of Christ, offering truth and love to the abortion-bound mothers, fathers, grandparents and friends; obeying Proverbs 31:8 to be a voice for the voiceless, in the cause of all who are appointed to die.
Many Christians join John each week to pray, preach, and offer alternatives to the patients of OWC– everything from free sonograms at crisis pregnancy centers to adoption resources, medical care, safe housing, and more. Some saints who cannot be there to offer physical support commit to faithfully praying for the ministry.
By God’s grace, hundreds of women have chosen life. Some have even returned (with their babies!) to minister with John to mothers at OWC who come to kill the babies in their wombs. Thousands of women still choose death– some with curses, some with tears, and some with stony or tortured silence. Neither he who plants is anything, nor he who waters, but the Lord gives the increase. (1 Corinthians 3:7)

In 2013 Leclerc Brothers Moving Pictures came to Orlando to help share the story of what God is doing at Orlando Women’s Center.
Watch and share this short video and consider what the Lord may be calling you to do to join the fight around the country and around the world to offer hope and help to perishing children, their mothers and families.
