As reported by John Barros:
Jasmine is in desperate need right now and we are praying a church will enter into her life. She recently committed her life to Christ but she needs help.
Jasmine has been living in a state-run shelter but is being forced to leave today. She chose life and is now 31 weeks pregnant. To stay in the shelter she needed to work at least 20 hours a week and do community service. She would love to do this but her baby is trying to come early. She is getting shots to keep that from happening and she has blood clots forming.
Her doctor has written letters saying she can’t do the work requirement but the shelter says they have to stick by their rules.
Our team is praying a church will come along and adopt her for a few months by either a member taking her and her four-year-old son Jeremiah into their home, or helping her find a room somewhere. Whatever church gets her would be very blessed! She just needs help for a short period of time.
Please join us in praying for this to happen. We have looked everywhere and the crisis pregnancy centers have been looking too.
Text or call John (407-587-5555) if you have a place for this sweet mom and her son to stay.
UPDATE: Jasmine gave birth on May 13th at 31 weeks. Baby Victoria is in the NICU at Winnie Palmer hospital, while Jasmine and Jeremiah are staying at Ronald McDonald House for 30 days. They are still in search of a long-term solution..
